God does not leave us

When a friend of mine sent me this simple message on a day when I felt particularly alone, I was truly touched by the amazing simplicity of these words, yet by the deep message contained in them.

Have you ever felt really, really __alone__ ?  

Well, remember always that God really does not leave us , alone ,  because He truly loves us too much to that. He is there with you, quietly comforting you, quietly holding you up in His strength. It does not matter at all if you cannot feel His presence, He is still there, ever present with you , because He loves you.

The eternal God is your refuge, And underneath are the everlasting arms.
